I was with a friend the other day and she asked me how I get all the end of year things done? She knows I like my strategic planning and efficiency. I told her that really, anyone can do it because December 25th is the same time every year. Start with December 25th and work back accordingly. How do you do it? Conversations about money aren’t easy. Especially when it comes to asking for it. Whether it’s an unpaid bill, a potential proposal, an event fee, etc. it can be uncomfortable when you have to ask someone about money. My best advice is simple. Never send an email about money.

We can’t control what happens, we can only respond to the situation. The best bet is to always have a Plan B and in some cases, a Plan C.

Now is the time to take action on it. Create a deadline and work backwards. Calendar all the steps you need to take.
